Hi, I’m Jayne, a former international high jumper, now running and performance coach with over 20 years of experience working with athletes and runners.
I work with runners in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond who want
more
structure, better progress, and
support they can trust.
Whether you’re building up to a race, chasing a PB, coming back from injury, or just want your training to feel more purposeful, I’ll meet you where you are.
My coaching blends smart programming, strength work, and movement guidance, but just as importantly, I care about how you feel in the process. You’ll always understand the 'why' behind the plan, and I’ll be right there to support you as you move forward with clarity and confidence.

What type of clients do you work with?
I coach runners of all levels. From first 5Ks to marathons, from busy parents to Hyrox athletes. If you're someone who wants more structure, smarter training, and coaching that adapts to your life, you're in the right place
Do I need to be “fit” to start working with you?
Not at all. You don’t need to be at a certain level to start. Whether you’re returning from injury, feeling lost with your training, or ready to really challenge your performance, we’ll start from where you are and build from there.
What’s included in coaching?
This depends on your package, but most clients receive:
- A fully personalised running plan (via TrainingPeaks)
- Strength training (via Everfit, if included)
- Access to a library of warm ups, cool downs, injury prevention elements (via Everfit)
- Ongoing support, feedback and check ins (via Everfit)
- Race strategy, tapering and fuelling advice
- Adjustments when life happens (because it does!)
Coaching with me isn’t just about the sessions. I'm here to support, guide and building a plan that actually works with your life.
I find time an issue, how flexible is the training?
Very. Whether you work shifts, travel for work, juggle kids’ schedules or all of the above, I build your plan around you. Coaching should make your life easier, not more stressful.
What platforms do you use?
- TrainingPeaks: for your running plan and your runs sync to your smart watch
- Everfit: for strength sessions, feedback, and all ongoing communication
It’s all mobile friendly, easy to use, and designed to keep things clear and connected.
What if I get injured or something changes in my schedule?
That’s exactly where personalised coaching comes into it's own. Whether it's an injury, illness, or a busy few weeks, I adjust the plan so you can keep moving forward in a way that feels manageable and sustainable and supporting your injury.
